Broeders Steel is a forward-looking metal fabrication company. We have a passion for custom projects that make the most of our many years of combined structural and general construction experience.

That’s because Broeders is a full-service “Start to Finish” company, providing solid solutions covering design, engineering, fabrication, and through to the final precision installation by our own team.

Founder Peter Broeders always wanted to start his own business, from the moment he started his apprenticeship and through his years as a construction engineer. After a period consulting for a major steel firm in Ontario, Peter started his first business, an erecting company for other steel fabricators.

From his experience as being, as he says, “the second guy in line for steel”, Peter decided there was a better way – and Broeders Steel was born.

Now an established and highly respected steel firm here in Ontario, Peter is clear about what his company stands for.

“Here we are today. Small but mighty, honest and reliable. Our portfolio of work tells our story, and we build relationships on the now. We are diverse in what we do. Our core business and passion is steel and installation, combined with hard work, great service, and always enjoying a challenge.”

Peter is an ironworker and a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers.

At Broeders, we provide our customers with a fully personalized service, helping them realize their individual construction goals. Special consideration is given to time-sensitive jobs and deadlines which other local metal fabrication companies may not be able to meet or fulfil.

We also work with talented architects across southwestern Ontario. Our affiliations with local and national designers and engineers ensure we can provide timely and cost-effective solutions to unique construction challenges.
